AOA's feature in The Lyre, fall 2022
Our bond as sisters is strong, no matter which college you attended or city you live in. Membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha alumnae chapter provides opportunities to develop new friendships, network and get involved in fun activities. Our members live throughout metro Detroit and bring diverse backgrounds to create a lively group with a variety of interests and experiences to share.
AOA offers a tiered dues system so members can choose the tier that best fits their AOA experience.
- Lyre, $55: Standard Membership
- Carnation, $40: Young Alumnae Member - sisters who completed undergrad within the previous two school years
- Golden, $45: Sustaining Member - provides financial support to AOA but is unable to attend events regularly
- Pearl, $75: Honored Member - provides financial support to AOA and contributes to sponsorship of a Carnation Membership
Annuals dues support chapter operations and programming, the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation and other philanthropic activities. Additional fees may apply for activities such as happy hours, dinners, special outings, and other events/activities. Our programming year runs from September through August, so it is best to pay your dues in the fall and you will be covered and receive membership benefits for the full year!

Dues Payment
Pearl
$75.00
Honored member with voting privileges. For sisters who are so inclined to provide additional financial support for the chapter. All benefits of Lyre tier, and a special designation denoting their Pearl status on their nametag. Every five Pearl memberships will sponsor one Carnation membership for one year, chosen randomly by the executive board from a list of recent graduates staying in the Metro-Detroit area to encourage continued membership.
Lyre
$55.00
Full member with voting privileges. Receives a nametag, access to membership directory, and access to members-only events. Additionally, the cost of milestone pins are covered by chapter for these members. Members at this level will receive discounts on any paid, members-only events (exact amount dependent on event).
Golden
$45.00
Sustaining member with voting privileges. A membership for sisters who want to support the chapter but are unable to attend events regularly; we kindly request that any members at this level attend only a maximum of two events per year or choose to upgrade to Lyre tier. Receives access to member directory. Members at this tier are not eligible to run for board positions.
Carnation
$40.00
Young alumna, full membership with voting privileges for sisters who graduated from undergrad within the previous two school years. Receives a nametag, access to membership directory, and access to members-only events. Additionally, the cost of milestone pins are covered by chapter for these members. Members at this level will receive discounts on any paid, members-only events (exact amount dependent on event).
